About this scholarship
To provide financial support to undergraduate and graduate students for the advancement of education. General studies/Field of study not specified. Applicants must be should be a full-time, sophomore or beyond, currently enrolled in an accredited degree-granting institution, minimum 2.5 GPA, and demonstrate community service and involvement; high school students and college freshmen are not eligible and should not apply; prior general scholarship recipients are not eligible. Selection will be based on committee criteria.; criteria for scholarship may include, but are not limited to, the following: prior academic performance; performance of each applicant on tests designed to measure ability and aptitude for educational work; recommendations from instructors of such applicant and any others who have knowledge of the applicant’s capabilities; additional biographical information regarding an applicant’s career, academic and other relevant experiences, financial need; conclusions basis as to the applicant’s motivation, character, ability, or potential.
