About this scholarship
To provide financial assistance to an individual pursuing a minimum two-year course at an accredited college, university, or technical school. General studies/Field of study not specified. Applicants must be a child of an employee of an active niba distributor/fabricator or manufacturer member company; applicants must employee of an active niba member company; must attend a two-year or more accredited college, university or technical school; applicant must be a high school senior (or have ged equivalent), or a college student; applicant may not be a previous winner. note applicant may win a different scholarship than applicant won in the past (i.e. previous presidential scholarship winners are eligible for the memorial scholarship, and vice versa). Selection will be candidates based on the following allocation: 40% = academic achievement (20 GPA, 20 SAT/ACT score); 60% = essay.
