About this scholarship

To assist students who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to the hospitality (restaurant, foodservice, lodging, tourism) industry. Culinary arts. Applicants must be currently employed in the hospitality industry and/or enrolled and major in culinary arts, baking, and pastry, hospitality tourism, or a related field of study at an accredited institution; must be used toward the pursuit of an undergraduate or master’s degree at an accredited post-secondary institution. Students that are not enrolled for the fall semester of 2024 and spring semester of 2025 are not eligible; recipients must be classified as full-time students in order for any funds to be disbursed to the educational institution. Selection will be based on judges will on the following: presentation of application (spelling, punctuation, etc.); industry-related work experience; grade point average; essay (well written and within word count); proStart/LMP enrollment.
